The Office of Special Education of the Wachusett Regional School District provides a plethora of support services for students with disabilities ages 3-22 years of age. The focus of these programs and services is to provide each student with the necessary skills to access the general education curriculum.
The mission of the Office of Special Education is to enhance the growth of the whole child following the legal regulations put forth in the Individuals With Disabilities Act (IDEA) while implementing the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks/Common Core Standards.
Wachusett boasts a dedicated staff of highly qualified professionals who design and coordinate services for students with disabilities who are fully included, partially included, and who require substantially separate district wide programming.
